These terms govern your use of bloodbornecert.com, operated by [Training entity name] ("we"). By buying, redeeming a seat, or taking the course you agree to them.

1. What we provide

An online training course on the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard, 29 CFR 1910.1030, an assessment, and on passing, a certificate of training with a verification number. The course is general training. It does not include your employer's site-specific exposure control plan, which the standard requires your employer to provide.

2. No accreditation; acceptance is not guaranteed

OSHA does not accredit or approve bloodborne pathogens training providers, and we do not claim otherwise. Whether a certificate satisfies an employer, licensing board, health department or other party is that party's decision. Some states and localities set their own hour requirements or approved-provider lists; you are responsible for checking them before purchase.

3. Accounts and honest completion

A certificate is issued to one named person, who must complete the course and assessment personally. Taking the assessment for someone else, sharing accounts, or giving a false name is prohibited. We may revoke a certificate obtained that way; the verification page will then show it as revoked. You are responsible for the accuracy of the name you enter.

4. Employer seats

A seat is one enrollment for one person. The purchaser controls unredeemed seats and may assign, reassign or void them. Once redeemed, a seat belongs to that learner and cannot be transferred. The purchasing organization can see each redeemed learner's name, email, progress, certificate number and retrain date.

5. Payment and refunds

Prices are shown at checkout in US dollars. Payment is processed by Stripe. Full refund within 14 days of purchase if you have not started the test. If you paid after passing, a refund within 14 days revokes the certificate. For employer seats, any seat not yet redeemed is refundable within 14 days of purchase. After that, purchases are non-refundable except where required by law.

6. Certificate validity

OSHA requires retraining at least once every 12 months. Each certificate shows a retrain-by date 12 months after completion. Certificate records remain verifiable after that date and show the original dates.

7. Not medical advice

The course is education, not medical advice. If you have an exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials, follow your employer's procedure and seek medical evaluation promptly.

8. Intellectual property

Course content, narration, questions and site design are ours or licensed to us. You may view them for your own training and print or share your own certificate. You may not copy, resell or republish the course.

9. Disclaimers and limits of liability

The course is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including an employer's or regulator's decision not to accept a certificate.

10. Governing law

Colorado law governs these terms. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Boulder County, Colorado.

11. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the version in effect at the time of purchase governs that purchase. Questions: use the support page.
